CMR Granular Adapter

An adapter enabling granular scrubber material to be used in the Incursion rebreathers instead of Micropore ExtendAir Cartridges (EACs), comprising a 3D mesh sock with inner and outer filter holding the granules with zip closure, and a spring plate that replaces the EAC flow cone. Fitting the sock can be achieved in a similar time as fitting the EAC.

Note that granular scrubber material has no flood resistance. Open Safety offer a service to calibrate the duration of any locally produced scrubber material, at any chosen depth and water temperature, and compare it with the EAC. Open Safety recommend use of dive approved granules only, such as Molecular Products 797 or Draeger Divesorb.
