Fastening to a ship’s hull for underwater repairs, inspection or other operations can be tiring and difficult work for marine personnel, requiring constant refining to maintain location and time-consuming, complex tie-offs that need ongoing adjustment to match ever-changing environment conditions.
Similarly, temporary docking or tethering above the waterline are challenging at best, due to wave action, currents, and the lack of suitable tie-off points.
Tactical Marine Tethers have superfast, super-strong switchable magnets. They allow operators, above and below water, to fasten themselves or their equipment while working on steel-hulled ships or structures - with just the flick of a switch.
With inbuilt switch locking, the tethers cannot be accidentally ‘knocked off’.
